Most of the practical errands — weekly shopping, bulk runs — pull you a short distance into Belvedere, where Walmart Supercentre and Bulk Barn do the heavy lifting. Getting downtown is a matter of connecting to the MAX Purple rapid transit line — a real link that makes the east end feel less remote than the kilometres suggest. Twinhills is still actively taking shape, and you feel it in the streets — newer homes, fresh landscaping, the occasional patch of in-progress development in the background. The surrounding east corridor, from Forest Heights to Forest Lawn, gives it familiar bones even as the neighbourhood itself continues to build out.
