Whitehorn Station is what this neighbourhood is built around — CTrain to downtown, buses branching toward McKnight - Westwinds Station, Temple, and out toward Monterey Park. FlixBus stops here too, pulling a different kind of traveller through on long-haul days. Beyond the station, the commercial strip runs practical and dining-forward: pharmacies close enough to walk to, restaurants that fill up on weeknights rather than just weekends. The Calgary Chinese Baptist Church fits naturally into the northeast patchwork — Abbeydale and Marlborough a short drive east, streets that are mostly owner-occupied and settled. Annie Gale School draws from a wide catchment, and on weekday mornings the side streets near it fill in that unhurried, familiar way that comes from people living in the same place for years.
