The commercial strip keeps most daily errands close — FreshCo for groceries, Shoppers Drug Mart nearby, and a stretch of restaurants and takeout spots that fills up on weeknights. Bus routes fan out from here toward Redstone, Corner Meadows, and the broader northeast, connecting the neighbourhood to the rest of the city. The residential streets are newer, with recent builds on tidy lots and active construction still underway on the outer blocks. The dining options have arrived ahead of some of the other retail. On evenings and weekends, that strip draws people in from Cityscape and Homestead — it's the corner of the northeast where people come to eat before heading home.
