Calgary traffic count data for business
The City of Calgary publishes live camera images. It doesn’t publish or keep vehicle counts from them. We’ve counted every camera, every minute, since March 2026, and kept all of it.

Columns: window start (local time), camera, location, average cars / trucks / buses / all vehicles in view, min and max vehicles in view, frames sampled, capture rate.
Who this is for
- Site selection and commercial real estate: how busy the roads next to a site are, by hour and weekday, and how that is changing.
- Logistics and delivery: when each corridor is typically congested, and how often it is worse than normal.
- Media and research: before-and-after comparisons around road projects, events, weather and holidays.
What to know before you use it
- These are vehicles in view (density), not vehicles per hour. Stopped traffic shows more vehicles than free-flowing traffic.
- Counts come from a computer-vision model on camera images. Obstructed, dark or weather-blurred frames undercount; the capture-rate column shows how many frames were usable.
- History starts in March 2026. Seasonal comparisons get stronger every month.
