Walden

The commercial village at Walden's centre is where most of the daily business lands — Save-On-Foods for groceries, Shoppers Drug Mart a few steps away, and enough restaurants that people from the surrounding south communities make the drive in. It's compact by design: three errands and lunch without moving the car. The neighbourhood is still building out, which means new streets and construction are part of the texture for now. Bus routes fan out across the deep south from here, and Southview Alliance Church is one of the longer-standing anchors in an area where most things are relatively recent.
