Lake Chaparral is residents-only, which means access to the private lake at the neighbourhood's centre is one of the first things you work out when you move in — it belongs to the community in a way that shapes how people use it. Chaparral School and St. Sebastian Elementary School both sit within the neighbourhood, keeping the school run short for most families. Chaparral Pharmacy and Remedy'sRx handle everyday errands close to home, and bus routes run south toward Bridlewood and Cranston, though most trips out still go by car.
